[Hiring] Data Integrations Engineer @Artech

Role Description

Client is looking for the person in the Travel & Transportation sector, where you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data integration solutions that drive our business forward.

• The person who understands the business/data requirement, investigates the source data, maps it to the target, defines the transformation rules, identifies impacts, and gives Data Engineers a clear technical specification to build the pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing, designing, and documenting data integration solutions and pipelines.
• Strong experience creating detailed source-to-target mapping documents that translate business requirements into technical transformation logic.
• Ability to profile incoming/source data, assess data quality, identify gaps, and validate requirements before development.
• Strong understanding of source systems, target data models, data structures, relationships, and data flows.
• Ability to translate business/data requirements into clear transformation rules and technical specifications for engineering teams.
• Experience assessing the impact of new requirements on existing integration designs and producing clear technical documentation.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Requirements

• Experience working with ETL/ELT and enterprise data integration pipelines.
• Experience with data quality, data governance, and metadata management.
• Experience collaborating with data engineers, architects, business analysts, and source-system SMEs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Profile and assess incoming/source data.
• Validate new data requirements and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
• Analyze the impact of new requirements on existing integration designs.
• Develop and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documentation.
• Define transformation rules and business logic clearly for engineering teams.
• Ensure requirements are fully understood and technically documented before pipeline development starts.
• Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into implementable integration specifications.
