[Hiring] Data Engineer GCP (BigQuery) @Manning Global

Role Description

This is a remote position.

Manning Global is recruiting for a Data Engineer GCP (BigQuery) on behalf of one of their blue-chip international clients to join their organization in Spain.

• Manage and operate the data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring its reliability, performance, and availability.
• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations using BigQuery (SQL) and Dataform.
• Work with core GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Dataproc, and Log Explorer, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and data privacy requirements across data processes and access.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
• Experience and knowledge in Data Forms BigQuery (SQL) & Power BI with SOX expertise.
• Data Engineering Technician with knowledge in Data Forms and BigQuery (SQL).
• Proven experience in the management and operation of the Platform on Google Cloud Platform and associated services.
• Technical specialists in data transformation and usage on Google Cloud services/components.
• GCP Developers (for example, Cloud Run).
• GCP Architecture.
• Experience in Google Cloud Platform & VMs, Buckets, Cloud SQL, Dataproc, Log Explorer.
• Should have working experience in SOX controls and data privacy.
• Specialists in data governance, Knowledge Catalog/Dataplex, and Truedat tools, complemented with security and SOX.
• Technical specialists in the support and development of reports and dashboards, in Power BI, SAC, Looker technologies, Looker semantic layer. Experience in Fabric will be valued.

• Languages: English and Spanish fluent.

Benefits

• Salary range: 50,000.00 EUR - 55,000.00 EUR dependent upon experience.
• Employment: Full time.
