Data Engineer

Remote - Chicago, IL

Employment Type: W2 Only

Responsibilities include:

• 8+ years of overall experience in data engineering, including:
• Data modelling
• ETL/ELT
• Data integration
• Master data management/entity management
• Data quality
• Data warehousing
• Analytics (prescriptive, predictive)
• Business intelligence
• Data science
• Governance
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, SQL, and Java.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies including:
• SQL Server (IaaS, PaaS)
• Synapse
• CosmosDB
• HDInsight
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• Power BI
• Fabric
• Experience with Informatica cloud technologies including:
• CIH
• DIH
• CDGC
• Master Data Management
• Data Quality
• Experience with Snowflake and other relevant industry leaders.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with others, including senior leadership.
• Ability to summarize and translate complex, technical information into straightforward language.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or related quantitative field.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages: C#, Python, SQL, Java.
• Experience with Microsoft and Informatica technologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
