[Hiring] Data & Analytics Engineer @Curvion Blue

Role Description

Think of it as the architect, builder, and strategist of our sales data universe, all rolled into one. This role is the nerve center of Curvion’s reporting ecosystem, making sure every number, metric, and trend we rely on is accurate, trustworthy, and actionable.

• Build and optimize data infrastructure in BigQuery
• Fine-tune ETL/ELT processes
• Design dashboards in Looker Studio
• Ensure sales leaders have clear, reliable data to guide decisions

In short, you’re the person who makes the data magic happen so our teams can operate smarter, close more deals, and scale faster.

Qualifications

• Fluent in SQL and enjoys query optimization
• Strong Python skills to solve real data problems
• Ability to make messy, scattered data reliable and usable
• Experience building dashboards that simplify complex information for sales leaders
• Enjoy building reliable and efficient pipelines and workflows
• Ability to spot reporting anomalies
• Obsessed with accuracy, data integrity, and efficiency
• Investigate the root cause of discrepancies
• Passionate about eliminating manual reporting processes
• Desire to impact revenue without sales calls
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a high-energy team
• Belief that sales data should drive decisions

Requirements

• Complex SQL queries or data warehouses do not deter you
• Boredom with managing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines is not an issue
• “Good enough” is not an acceptable standard for reporting accuracy
• Enjoy solving data puzzles and tracking down inconsistencies
• Open to learning new tools, systems, or automation methods
• Thorough auditing of data is preferred over eyeballing
• Interest in supporting a high-performance sales environment
• Comfortable with a fast-paced environment with frequent changes
• View dashboards as critical business tools
• Flexible on pizza preferences

General Expected Duties

• Design, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT processes for accurate data flow into BigQuery
• Monitor, audit, and troubleshoot datasets for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Build, maintain, and improve Looker Studio dashboards and reporting
• Optimize reporting performance

• 9AM-6PM, PST (Must be available to work US hours)
