Role Description

ANDERSEN is looking for a Data Analyst 2 to support a Microsoft team working with internal stakeholders on third-party software, licensing, reporting, and spend analysis. This role will focus on:

• Power BI
• Microsoft Fabric
• Data analysis
• Reporting
• Database queries
• ETL processes

The analyst will help coordinate reporting changes, test and implement data solutions, and turn complex data into actionable business recommendations. A unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to work with AI-related spending and cost analysis, helping identify opportunities to optimize costs. Potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
• Strong Power BI skills
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Knowledge of scripting languages
• Exposure to AI-related data, spend, or cost analysis
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments
• Experience with database technologies and queries
• Understanding of ETL processes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
• 2+ years of data analysis and reporting experience

Requirements

• Data Analysis – 2+ years: Hands-on experience analyzing data, identifying trends, validating results, and translating findings into business recommendations.
• Power BI & Reporting – 2+ years: Experience developing, maintaining, testing, and updating Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Database Queries & ETL – 2+ years: Experience working with database technologies, queries, and ETL/data transformation processes. Knowledge of at least one scripting language is preferred.
