[Hiring] Data Analyst @Emerging Travel Group

Role Description

As a Data Analyst in the Business Analytics team, you’ll be the dedicated analyst for our B2B commercial direction. You’ll work as an independent contributor, side by side with the commercial team. You’ll find growth opportunities in the data, form and test hypotheses, and measure the impact of business initiatives that are not product features. Your first projects will include:

• Supporting and developing our pricing override and cost modifier processes.
• Designing experiments around the credit limits we give B2B partners to help grow their booking volumes.
• Evaluating the financial and customer impact of opening local legal entities in new markets.

A/B testing alone often isn’t enough here, so you’ll choose and apply other methods, such as difference-in-differences or causal impact. There is no ready-made playbook. You’ll set your own approach, and project managers on both sides will help you run the work. The role suits a self-driven analyst who wants real ownership and visible impact on commercial decisions, and it can grow as the direction expands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in business, data or product analytics.
• Strong SQL, including writing efficient, fast-running queries.
• Confident Python and its data libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit-learn and others.
• Hands-on experience with difference-in-differences.
• Experience with causal inference methods: Causal Impact, Propensity Score Matching and similar.
• Solid knowledge of statistics and experience designing and running A/B tests and other experiments.
• Ability to dive deep into business processes, solve non-standard problems and work independently.
• Fluent Russian and English B2.

Requirements

• Experience with time series forecasting (Prophet, ARIMA, Exponential Smoothing or similar) - Nice to have.
• Experience in B2B, commercial or partner analytics - Nice to have.
• Experience onboarding or mentoring junior colleagues - Nice to have.
• Hands-on use of AI tools, such as Copilot or agents, to speed up your work - Nice to have.
