[Hiring] Data Analyst @The Society of Radiographers

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Data Analyst to join the Chief Executive’s Office. Working closely with the Knowledge Manager and colleagues across the organisation, you will turn organisational data into reliable insights that support planning and decision-making.

• This is a broad, hands-on role with ownership across the analytical lifecycle.
• You will work with colleagues to understand the questions they need to answer.
• Develop proportionate analysis plans, prepare and analyse data.
• Communicate findings as clear, practical recommendations.
• Work with data from internal systems such as CRM, website, survey platform, and marketing platform.
• Build dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.
• Develop repeatable data processes, strengthen data quality and documentation.
• Contribute to data modelling and database design using Microsoft platforms such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Progress work independently, apply sound judgement, and seek guidance where appropriate.
• Communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Help colleagues use data effectively.

Requirements

• Location: Homeworking (remote), with occasional travel within the UK, including attendance at meetings and events.
• Salary: Grade C - £51,614 per annum.
• Contract: Fixed term for two years.
• Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week, with options for flexible working.
• Right to work: You must have full and unrestricted legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom at the time of application.
