Role Description
This role involves leading a team of data scientists and data management professionals to enhance clinical data management processes.
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Provide expert advice to clients in the development of data transfer requirements.
- Advise on and manage the execution of clinical data corrections within the Medable platform.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of clinical data transfers between internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data transfer protocols across all clinical projects.
- Design and review comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Partner with internal and external study teams to ensure seamless data workflows and project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices, driving continuous improvement in data management processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in clinical data management, or a combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Requirements
- Proficient in R for data analysis and visualization.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL for database design, querying, and optimization.
- Familiarity with clinical data standards (e.g., CDISC, SDTM, ADaM) is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and influence decision-making.
- Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA) is preferred.
Education, Certifications, Licenses
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Biostatistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree (preferred).
- Certification in clinical data management or related areas (preferred).

- As required.
