[Hiring] Business Intelligence Developer @IBR

Role Description

As a Business Intelligence Developer at IBR, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure, next-generation solutions that support critical missions. You will collaborate with technical leaders, business stakeholders, and a multi-disciplinary team to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and forward-thinking, while remaining aligned with organizational and program goals.

• Design and develop data visualization products by integrating complex data from multiple sources into actionable insights.
• Design, develop, enhance, and support dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense, QlikView, and/or Databricks.
• Build and maintain data models within Qlik environments to support scalable and efficient reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and debug Qlik applications and dashboards.
• Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from a variety of structured and unstructured data sources.
• Transform data into datasets and data tables within BI tools including Qlik, Cognos, and Databricks.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of Qlik applications, including data load scripts and front-end dashboards.
• Support data migration, integration, and system-to-system data transfers.
• Develop recurring reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly), and ad hoc reports to meet stakeholder and project requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Document SOPs including ETL process, data flows, and dashboard development standards.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field.
• Must currently have an active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field required.
• Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense and/or QlikView, including dashboard development, scripting, and data modeling.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, reports, and metrics across BI Platforms (Cognos, Power BI, Qlik, or similar).
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI technologies including Power BI, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Proven experience developing and optimizing ETL workflows and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, fact and dimension tables, and schema design.
• Experience performing performance tuning and optimization of Qlik applications and data models.
• Strong data modeling and data transformation experience required.
• Experience with programming and scripting languages including Python or R preferred.
• Experience with Databricks preferred.
• Experienced in collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
