Role Description

The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports that facilitate decision-making across the organization. This role involves conducting thorough analyses to identify necessary data elements and employing data visualization tools and technologies to transform complex data sets into actionable insights. The developer is responsible for understanding and evaluating the data being reported and effectively communicating their analyses and findings to stakeholders. Additionally, this position requires providing technical support for visualizations and self-service tools, alongside offering training and guidance to end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or related experience as determined by HR
• 3 years of analytic experience that included Dashboard development using tools like Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar related experience as determined by HR
• Understanding of statistical methods and tools that can be applied to data to derive insights
• Ability to identify patterns, outliers, and anomalies in detailed and complex data
• General understanding of core business processes relevant to the organization (e.g., sales, finance, operations)
• Ability to engage stakeholders, understand their needs, and translate those needs into technical requirements
• Awareness of data governance principles to ensure data is of high quality
• Basic understanding of data privacy principles and practices, ensuring data is handled and displayed securely

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field as determined by HR (preferred)
• 2 additional years of Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling experience (preferred)
• Certifications in specific BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView (preferred)
• BI Development experience using SQL, Python/R (preferred)
