[Hiring] Business Intelligence Analyst @Flexscale

Role Description

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to support data-driven decision-making for a U.S. banking organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Power BI and Snowflake, strong SQL skills, and the ability to turn business data into clear, actionable reports and dashboards. You will work closely with business and technical teams to understand reporting needs, analyze data, and develop reliable BI solutions that help stakeholders monitor performance and make informed decisions.

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL and data stored in Snowflake.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Build data models and create Power BI visualizations, measures, and reports.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reports are accurate and reliable.
• Analyze business trends and provide insights that support decision-making.
• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and work with technical teams to resolve them.
• Maintain and improve existing dashboards, reports, and data processes.
• Document reporting logic, data sources, and processes as needed.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business users, and other teams on BI and reporting projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Experience working with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
• Strong SQL skills, including querying, joins, aggregations, and data analysis.
• Experience creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business users.
• Understanding of data modeling and BI reporting concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Experience working with large or complex datasets.
• Familiarity with ETL/data transformation processes.
• Experience with Power Query and DAX.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, or reporting standards.
• Experience working with U.S.-based stakeholders or teams.
