• Analyze business requests to be solved with automated systems.
• Formulate and design automated systems scope and objectives based on user needs and applicable business systems.
• Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
• Configure system settings and options; plan and execute business design.
• Assist in integration and acceptance testing, where necessary.
• Create specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
• Include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Relevant Experience or Degree in: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field; or equivalent training or experience in lieu of degree.
• Typically Minimum 6 Years Relevant Experience
• Professional experience working with end-users to meet business needs.
• Scripting knowledge, bankcard industry knowledge, understanding data structures.
• Working towards a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).

Requirements

• Acts as a liaison between client end-users, programmers, and test analysts.
• Maintains a working relationship with key stakeholders.
• Consults with management to identify, define, and document business needs/objectives.
• Maintains communications with end-users and reviews feedback to ensure systems meet client expectations.
• Analyzes complex/escalated problems/issues and offers alternative business solutions.
• Facilitates meetings and leads discussions.
• Analyzes, interprets, and develops business specifications and logical flowcharts.
• Consults and coordinates with programmers to design and develop requirements.
• Prepares input for system design, including final report and screen definition.
• Provides support to resolve issues that may cross multiple systems.
• Tracks application incidents to ensure successful conclusions for clients.
• Identifies system impact of changes in business, user needs, and operating systems.
• Leads documentation for client training and installation of systems.
• Develops, administers, and recommends best practices for testing/planning/validation.
• Assigns project work to Business Analyst(s) occasionally.
• Assists with detailed project planning efforts on larger projects.
• Monitors project progress by tracking activity and resolving problems.
• Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Maintains software deployment plans and communicates these plans to the user community.
