Role Description

Job Description: Business Analyst

Experience: 5+ years in Healthcare IT or related domain

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Requirement Elicitation & Management
  • Lead and facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders (clinical, operational, technical) to capture and prioritize complex business requirements.
  • Focus on areas such as healthcare regulatory compliance, clinical workflows, payer/provider systems, and EHR integration.
  • Translate high-level business objectives into detailed functional and non-functional specifications (User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, Wireframes).
  • Manage the complete requirements lifecycle ensuring traceability from concept to delivery and testing.
• Solution Design & Partnership
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Data Engineers to design and validate data-driven solutions that improve healthcare outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Assess proposed solutions for feasibility, regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR), and alignment with organizational goals.
• Data Analysis & Modeling
  • Analyze large, complex healthcare datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement or new feature development.
  • Define data requirements, create data flow diagrams, and contribute to logical data models for data warehousing, BI, and advanced analytics.
• Leadership & Quality Assurance
  • Mentor junior Business Analysts and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and execute UAT plans, test cases, and ensure product quality meets business needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and adhere to organizational standards.
  • Manage change requests, evaluating their impact on scope, timeline, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Strong understanding of US healthcare ecosystem (payer, provider, regulatory frameworks).
• Experience with EHR systems, claims processing, and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
