Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Strategic Finance team, building analytics solutions that serve leaders across the enterprise. You'll design and develop dashboards, self-service reporting tools, and scalable data products for stakeholders in Sales, Customer Success, Corporate Development, Finance, and cross functionally. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking - we're looking for someone who identifies opportunities, takes initiative, and delivers solutions that drive business impact. You will partner with business leaders throughout the organization to understand their analytical needs, design solutions, and build tools that enable data-driven decision-making. This role reports to the Strategic Finance leader and partners closely with FP&A, Data Strategy, AI Center of Excellence, and business teams across the organization.

• Design and build Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that enable finance and business partner decision-making
• Develop Power BI data models and reports using Snowflake data warehouse as the primary data source, utilizing SQL and AI skills as needed to accelerate data discovery and validation
• Design scalable reporting frameworks and reusable data assets that grow with the business
• Own the full lifecycle from requirements through deployment, documentation, and iteration
• Partner with Finance and business leaders to translate business questions into analytical solutions
• Extract insights from complex, multi-source datasets and turn them into clear recommendations
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions
• Build frameworks and templates that drive data consistency and quality
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and analysis workflows
• Evaluate and implement AI/ML tools for forecasting, pattern detection, and insight generation
• Partner with AI Center of Excellence to pilot and scale strategic finance use cases
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend new tools and approaches
• Build trusted relationships across Finance, business teams, and data engineering partners
• Translate complex data into clear narratives
• Drive adoption of analytics tools through training and enablement
• Influence decisions by connecting data to business outcomes

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or strategic finance
• Strong Power BI skills including data modeling, DAX, and visualization design
• SQL proficiency with experience working with complex, multi-source datasets
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts, data structures, and dimensional modeling
• Experience working with cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred)
• Proficiency in Excel for analysis and ad hoc reporting
• Demonstrated ability to develop analytical solutions, not just execute predefined reports
• Critical thinker with intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Self-directed with ability to identify opportunities and execute independently
• Strong communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or scripting
• Exposure to AI/ML tools or platforms
• Background in SaaS, software, or technology industry
• Experience with financial data, ERP systems, or Workday Adaptive Planning

Compensation Info

The U.S. salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$125,000.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
