Role Description

Data Architect with expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and data products. Responsible for designing, maintaining, and evolving the organization's data architecture to ensure data is structured, integrated, governed, and scalable across business domains and platforms.

• Expertise in data architecture, data modeling, integration architecture, and modern data platform design within global, complex environments.
• Deep knowledge of data structures, data flows, and data lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of metadata, data lineage, data quality, and governance principles.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data architecture solutions.

Key activities include:

• Define Data Architecture:
  • Defines and maintains data architecture frameworks, principles, and standards.
  • Establishes architectural guidance for how data is structured, stored, integrated, exchanged, and consumed across the organization.
  • Ensures alignment between business priorities, digital strategies, (functional) data domains, data products, and supporting technology platforms.
• Design Data Models & Standards:
  • Defines conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support IMSC data requirements.
  • Establishes architecture standards for data structures, integration patterns, and reusable design components.
  • Enables reuse and standardization of data products and assets.
  • Supports end-to-end visibility of critical business data.
  • Defines architecture guardrails that support scalability, maintainability, and technical sustainability.
• Embed Governance & Data Quality by Design:
  • Ensures the architecture design supports data quality, lineage, traceability, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Identifies architectural risks and recommends mitigation strategies where needed.
  • Supports implementation of architecture controls that enable monitoring and management of data assets and products throughout their lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Data Architect.
• Expertise in data architecture and modern data platform design.

Requirements

• Pay: $70-72/hour on W2.
• Remote work opportunity.
