[Hiring] AWS Redshift Data Engineer @S Base Technologies

Role Description

Our Dallas-based client is looking for an experienced AWS Redshift Data Engineer who can design, develop, and optimize enterprise data solutions supporting business intelligence and analytics. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on Amazon Redshift experience along with the ability to mentor and train a team of data engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Data Engineering / Data Warehousing experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Amazon Redshift experience
• Strong SQL skills and dimensional data modeling experience
• Experience with AWS data services: AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, EMR
• Experience with ETL/ELT development and optimization
• Strong knowledge of data mapping, data profiling, metadata management, and data quality processes
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and leading data engineering teams
• Strong communication and customer-facing consulting skills

Requirements

• Design and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions using Redshift and AWS services
• Develop efficient SQL queries, schemas, and data loading processes
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models and ETL/ELT solutions
• Perform data analysis and source-to-target mappings
• Ensure data quality and troubleshoot data issues
• Conduct design/code reviews and establish engineering best practices
• Mentor and train junior/mid-level data engineers
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project teams
