[Hiring] Associate Enterprise Data Engineer @Martin’s Point Health Care

Role Description

The Associate Data Engineer supports the development and maintenance of SQL Server workloads, data pipelines, and cloud data processes for Martins Point. This role plays a key part in maintaining the current SQL Server on-prem environment while assisting senior engineers in building and migrating data workflows into Azure and Databricks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Exposure to ETL tools, Azure services, or Databricks preferred.
• Healthcare experience or familiarity with healthcare data concepts preferred.
• Foundational SQL skills required.
• Strong willingness to learn modern data engineering frameworks and techniques.

Requirements

• Assists in developing SQL queries, stored procedures, and basic SSIS components.
• Supports maintenance activities for the SQL Server on-prem environment.
• Assists with migrating ETL jobs and SQL logic into cloud-based architectures.
• Monitors data jobs, investigates failures, and escalates issues as needed.
• Helps maintain documentation, diagrams, and pipeline inventories.
• Learns and applies data engineering best practices.
