[Hiring] Associate Data Engineer @TriHealth

Role Description

The Associate Data Engineer will participate in building data pipelines and/or datasets over their life cycles by working closely with a multidisciplinary agile team. As an Associate Data Engineer, you will assemble basic datasets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements for key stakeholders to ensure the enterprise has seamless access to actionable, meaningful, and well-governed data across all domains:

• Create data pipelines and/or datasets architecture with a current understanding of technologies aligned to business needs.
• Perform problem solving, formulation, testing, analysis on data. Design queries using structured query language.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures & coding standards set by the analytics department.
• Participate and implement components of data analytics deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Information Management, Engineering or related field (Preferred)
• Up to 1 year Technical Information Systems (Required)
• Up to 1 year Clinical experience in Healthcare (Preferred)
• Exposure to Relational Databases like SQL Server & Non-Relational Databases
• Other Epic Clarity Data Model Certification within 1 Year Required
• Other Python Certification Preferred
• Other Oracle Fusion Certification Preferred

Requirements

• Designs, builds & tests basic queries and/or data pipelines and/or datasets for data and analytics consumers - aligned to business needs using current understanding of technologies.
• Measured by the number of certified data sets delivered on time meeting data quality and orchestration SLAs.
• Adheres to standard operating procedures & coding standards set by the department including code check-in, documentation/extended properties.
• Obtains & maintains training & certifications listed in the job description and/or set by the Analytics Center of Excellence for an Associate Data Engineer.
• Actively contributes and participates in discussions during team meetings, design & planning sessions, huddles, and roundings.
