[Hiring] Analytics Manager @Atari

Role Description

Atari is looking for an Analytics Manager to lead analysis on a large, complex, quickly growing dataset and help make better commercial decisions. This role involves operating the internal AI system called the “Commercial Brain,” which scopes, runs, and self-checks commercial analyses.

This is a high-autonomy role for someone energized by ambiguous problems and excited about using AI to enhance decision-making. You will spend most of your time deep in analysis, providing judgment, insight, and commercial recommendations that shape revenue.

You’ll work closely with our Business Operations Manager and report directly to our Director of Commercial.

• Operate the Commercial Brain
• Scope analyses with the Commercial Brain, interrogate its reasoning, and find errors and unstated assumptions
• Act as the second reviewer of record on analyses
• Own the empirical loop, measuring actual outcomes against expected ones
• Own data trust by reconciling sales data against platform ground truth
• Build automations to remove manual analytical work
• Conduct recurring per-game analysis like pricing and regional performance
• Define approaches for ambiguous commercial questions and turn them into AI skills
• Build business cases for commercial decisions
• Develop metrics to measure the performance of the commercialization system
• Partner closely with the Business Operations Manager
• Keep a written record of judgment calls behind your work
• Present findings and recommendations to the Director of Commercial and executive leadership

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in analytics, commercial strategy, or a related field
• A genuine passion for games
• High autonomy in problem-solving and proposal creation
• Experience in a startup environment with ownership of outcomes
• Intellectual honesty in analysis and verification
• Familiarity with AI tools and their limitations
• Strong statistical foundations
• Basic financial modeling skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to read and catch errors in Python and SQL
• Clear writing skills
