[Hiring] Analytics Engineer @OnTrac

Role Description

The Analytics Engineer designs, develops, and maintains data analytics solutions and business intelligence dashboards that provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making. This role partners with business units to understand requirements, analyze complex datasets, and deliver high-quality reporting and visualization tools. The Analytics Engineer also collaborates with IT and Analytics teams to improve data integrity, optimize pipelines, and promote scalable, secure data practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Extensive understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and industry terminology
• Knowledge of standard office software and technologies
• Knowledge of key data tools and deployment processes

Requirements

• Create, update, and maintain the data sources used for reporting, analysis, and modeling, ensuring their integrity and accuracy.
• Create and maintain metadata and technical documentation for data sources, pipelines, ETL processes, and related data assets.
• Partner with stakeholders and data analysts to gather business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
• Collaborate with IT engineers to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes for efficient data flow and transformation.
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and standardize data and analytics processes.
• Promote best practices for data hygiene, resource allocation, and security while monitoring system performance and implementing enhancements as needed.
