Role Description

The Healthcare Analytics department is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Analysis & Reporting Manager for maternity cover. This is a key management role with a strong focus on leading people, developing capability and ensuring the team delivers a high-quality, responsive service.

• Responsible for the performance, development, and day-to-day management of the team.
• Create clear expectations and support colleagues to develop their skills.
• Ensure individuals and the wider team are able to perform at their best.
• Turn wider priorities and direction into clear operational plans for the team.
• Determine what needs to be delivered, when, and by whom.
• Balance planned work with changing priorities and new requests.
• Make decisions and manage competing demands.
• Focus the team's time and expertise where they can add the most value.

The department is pivotal to ensuring the data and analytics needs of the organisation are met. You will work closely with senior and operational colleagues across the Trust, helping to understand what they need and translating this into clear, deliverable pieces of work.

This role is fully remote; the successful candidate will require a suitable home working environment. There are twice yearly directorate Away Days held in person that the successful candidate will be expected to attend.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management role within analytics or reporting.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Manage the team on a day-to-day basis overseeing the prioritisation of work and allocating resources as required.
• Lead on the training and development of the team to upskill staff.
• Implement improvements to processes and innovations to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure effective communication within the team and across the Trust.
• Deputise for the Head of Analysis & Reporting as required.
