Role Description

Your job as an Over-the-Phone interpreter involves providing clear and accurate interpretation between languages, assisting non-English speakers in various activities.

• Providing over the phone interpretation services.
• Imparting thought, purpose, spirit, emotions, and tone of speakers from source language into target language.
• Complying with applicable ethics and standards.
• Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).

Qualifications

• Native in VIETNAMESE - Level English: B2/C1 level.
• Experience in interpretation and good knowledge of medical/legal terminology is considered a plus.

Requirements

• Computer: Windows 10 or newer, with Pentium or i3 processor. Minimum: Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz / Recommended: i5/i7 2.4 GHz and above. Minimum 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended).
• Stable and fast internet connection (Wi-Fi is not allowed). Internet speed of 4 Mbps Download/Upload.
• A noise canceling wired USB headset.
• Willingness to learn and grow both professionally and personally.
