Role Description

The Travel Reservation Support Representative assists customers with inquiries regarding their reservations, itineraries, and changes. This full-time remote position combines written customer service with office administration.

• Check the current online booking and provide approved process information.
• Understand the different stages of a booking: quote, held option, and ticketed/confirmed reservation.
• Identify the actual booking stage before informing customers.
• Handle sensitive identity and payment details through approved channels.
• Ensure confidentiality when multiple travelers are involved in one reservation.
• Follow the employer's specialist route for cancellation terms or travel requirements.
• Maintain visibility of the customer's requested action and authorized next steps in the online case.
• Review written booking and itinerary questions daily.
• Share approved confirmation or document paths.
• Record change requests without treating them as complete.
• Route fare, payment, and travel-rule questions appropriately.
• Flag conflicting supplier statuses and maintain a clear correspondence history.
• Receive training on the employer's booking system, references, and escalation processes.
• Accuracy with names and dates is essential.

Requirements

• Earlier customer service or office administration experience is an asset.
• Ability to check the current booking and route changes to authorized agents.
• Understand time zone differences and their impact on itineraries.
• Ability to manage discrepancies in documents and communicate effectively.
• Training on reservation stages and record systems will be provided.
