[Hiring] Tele Caller @Lokal App

Role Description

We are hiring for our sister app - Dostt, an audio and video platform. Currently, we operate in Tamil. As we expand rapidly, we are seeing significant growth.

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Tele Caller to join our team. The Tele Caller will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential leads, understanding their needs, and offering suitable services & onboarding them to the platform. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to handle rejections professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential and existing hosts/partners.
• Onboard and train new hosts as per platform guidelines.
• Assist users with profile completion, onboarding steps, and activation.
• Follow up on pending onboarding and verification activities.
• Engage with existing hosts to improve platform activity and retention.
• Contact inactive users and work towards reactivation.
• Educate hosts about platform features, policies, incentives, and opportunities.
• Resolve basic host concerns and coordinate escalations with internal teams.
• Maintain detailed records of calls, follow-ups, onboarding status, and escalations.
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly operational and productivity targets.
• Ensure professional communication and positive host experience during interactions.
• Stay updated with platform processes, operational changes, and promotional activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Telecaller, Customer Support Executive, Retention Executive, or in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in Kannada/Telugu/Malayalam/Tamil/Hindi (Read, Write & Speak preferred).
• Strong listening, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
• Ability to handle repetitive follow-ups and target-based work environments.
• Comfortable handling host rejection and difficult conversations professionally.
• Basic knowledge of computer operations, CRM tools, Google Sheets, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
