[Hiring] Technical Service Representative @Valmet

Role Description

Valmet is seeking a Technical Service Representative to provide field service and technical support for papermaking finishing equipment. This customer-facing role is responsible for:

• Equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and operator training.
• Providing technical support and advisory services to customers and contractors.
• Assisting with equipment installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and field service work.
• Preparing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Training customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Conducting site audits and identifying opportunities for equipment and process improvements.
• Supporting customers throughout the United States and North America.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Papermaking Technology, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of technical experience within the papermaking industry or a related industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field assignments with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout North America.
