Role Description

The Global Solutions and Risk Compliance (GSRC) organization is a component of Amazon's operations, dedicated to ensuring the compliance of its products and services worldwide. GSRC's core mission is to keep customers, partners, and associates safe while protecting the company from legal and regulatory risks. With a diverse global team spanning across various countries, GSRC partners with its stakeholders to classify products and ensure regulatory and legal compliance for product listings. The team designs global, consistent, and scalable solutions and prioritizes a blend between technology-driven and human decision-making processes.

As a Senior Compliance Associate, you will:

• Review product information against regulatory documentation to ensure compliance for Amazon listings.
• Use Amazon tools to classify products and address deviations from SOPs in collaboration with your manager and experts.
• Prioritize tasks using reports to meet quality, productivity, and service targets.
• Identify improvement opportunities, like automating reports with Excel, and contribute to SOP refinement.
• Share expertise in knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor peers.

Qualifications

• Advanced Japanese proficiency - minimal JLPT N2.
• Minimum a Bachelor Degree required.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, etc.).
• Basic SQL knowledge for data queries.
• Experience with CRM tools.
• Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills.
• Problem-solving abilities with logical and creative approaches.
• Commitment to research and data interpretation.
• Bachelor's degree holder.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related applications.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2 or equivalent) in both verbal and written communication.
• Strong knowledge of consumer product compliance processes and regulations.
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance management, including working with government agencies.
• 2+ years experience in Business Process Outsourcing across domains such as accounting, regulatory compliance, payment processing, IT services, human resources, or quality assurance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VBA.
• Expertise in database querying (SQL).
• Experience as a quality auditor in retail chain management, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies, or corporate environments.
• Background in data analysis within quantitative fields, including the development of data and decision support systems.
