[Hiring] Scheduling and Authorizations Specialist @ReWorks Solutions

Role Description

• Coordinate and manage scheduling for client appointments, assessments, and services efficiently.
• Request and obtain prior authorizations from insurance providers to ensure timely patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to scheduling and authorization processes within electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to resolve any issues regarding scheduling or authorizations.
• Monitor authorization statuses and follow up on pending requests to prevent delays.
• Assist in process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and compliance with payer requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling and authorization roles.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with Waystar, Central Reach, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Comfortable working U.S. hours.
