Role Description

The Core Medical Documentation Representative role is centered around making sure all required medical documentation is complete and accurate so patient orders can move forward without delay. This includes contacting doctors’ offices, following up consistently, and ensuring we’ve obtained everything needed from insurance providers so equipment can be shipped and delivered on time.

• Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.
• Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives.
• Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.
• Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.

Accountabilities

• Physician interactions (verbal calls, clinical prescribing questions, diagnosis validation, outbound fax resolution, etc).
• Reviews and executes according to departmental SOPs for medical documentation.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Achieve productivity measures and maintain standardized quality metrics.
• Identify, support and demonstrate the Company's culture and values to ensure quality service to both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Medical and Healthcare experience preferred.
• Call Center Experience preferred.
