[Hiring] Physician Billing Supervisor @Ensemble Health Partners

Role Description

The Supervisor of Billing oversees all Ensemble Health Partners Billing associates and is responsible for the performance and effectiveness of the department. The Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Monitoring associates' time and attendance
• Productivity and QA reviews
• Daily assigned workflows
• Ensuring associate education is provided
• Completing annual associate evaluations
• Meeting department objectives to facilitate compliant billing, improve revenue, accelerate cash, and reduce denials
• Monitoring all associates who support paper and electronic biller functions to ensure accuracy of claims submissions
• Working with multiple disciplines including Patient Access, Coding, Follow Up, Denials, and additional Revenue Management departments
• Empowering staff to develop methods of process improvement, including planning and setting priorities

Essential Job Functions:

• Reporting on Key Performance Indicators for the department and being held to the standards identified as benchmarks for each client
• Managing the daily workflow of the department, monitoring progress to identify trending issues and developing training or processes to address these issues
• Holding huddles to efficiently cover new or evolving training focuses to encourage and develop team members
• Overseeing progress on the floor and monitoring the worked accounts for quality assurance
• Managing assigned associates' time management and approval of timecards for payroll processing

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 Years of experience
• Excel knowledge is preferred
• Experience with Revenue Cycle Management and Billing is preferred
• Can require air travel or car travel occasionally for new client integrations
