Role Description

As a Pediatric Patient Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in helping families access vital therapy services by managing insurance authorizations, scheduling, and patient communication. This is a full-time position supporting multiple H2 Health Kids outpatient clinics across Texas.

• Serve as the first point of contact for pediatric patients and families
• Verify insurance benefits, process referrals, and obtain authorizations for therapy services
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system
• Schedule and coordinate appointments across multiple clinic locations
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and support administrative workflow
• Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth patient experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in healthcare administration or billing preferred
• Experience with insurance verification and authorizations strongly desired
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and EMR platforms
