[Hiring] Part Time Customer Care Representative @Shopventory Inc., DBA Thrive

Role Description

In the Thrive Customer Care Team, you'll be helping our customers (and prospective customers) navigate our system via live chat, email, phone, and video calls. As you gain a better understanding of Thrive, you'll be encouraged to grow and offer more contributions to help the company grow and develop a better product.

This position is part-time. We are looking for someone who can work 25 hours/week, preferably 5 hours/day Monday through Friday during which time your focus will be assisting customers. A major plus is being able to work until 8 pm ET Monday through Friday. This position is fully remote.

Qualifications

• You like people and are passionate about your customers having a great experience - Prior experience in customer service helpful.
• You have superior communication skills - writing will be most of your job. The ability to express complex subjects in a simple way will be a key to your success.
• You know how retail and running a business works - Whether a store or a restaurant or a fashion boutique, you've got a better-than-average grasp of the challenges facing the average business.
• You are a problem-solver - You can find creative solutions to complex problems, and do so with a smile!
• You manage your time wisely - You love finding opportunities to streamline and identifying better, faster ways to get the job done.
• You can wear a lot of hats - You’ll be responsible for billing questions, semi-technical questions, setup questions, and more.
• You play well with others - Even when questioning the status quo, you still work within the team.
• You can embrace the occasional "grind" - We have fun doing what we do, but even doing something exciting can get repetitive at times.
• You get to the root of the issue - You go after the full picture and ask the questions that will put you in a position to have all the facts before you proceed.

Requirements

• Bonus points for Spanish speaking.
• Experience in tech startups.
• Chat or phone-based customer service experience.
• Retail or restaurant experience.

Compensation

$23-$25/hour based on experience.
