Role Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Overnight Dispatch Agent to support our client's customer care and dispatch operations. In this role, you will serve as a point of contact for customers, consignees, and drivers, ensuring that orders are accurately processed, updated, and coordinated. You will handle customer inquiries, manage order-related requests, communicate delivery instructions, and help resolve issues as they arise.

The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, order processing, dispatch coordination, or logistics support. You should have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls from customers and consignees regarding orders, deliveries, and escalations.
• Create, book, update, and edit orders based on customer and consignee requirements.
• Accurately enter and maintain order information across various systems and data entry portals.
• Coordinate with drivers by relaying order details, updates, and instructions through phone calls, text messages, and dispatch software.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely assistance with order-related concerns.
• Review customer transaction records and verify order information for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate concerns to the appropriate team when necessary.
• Provide sales support and assist with other customer care activities as needed.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers, consignees, drivers, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, dispatch coordination, logistics, order processing, or a similar role.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience handling inbound and outbound customer calls.
• Good data entry skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems while communicating with customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer interactions professionally.
• Familiarity with standard business applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and web-based systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain reliable attendance.
