Role Description

This role involves providing administrative support to clinical teams in a virtual healthcare setting.

• Rapidly and accurately answer and respond to incoming telephone calls from patients and/or employer groups.
• Deliver responsive, patient-centered administrative support to clinical teams.
• Efficiently manage scheduling and frontline tasks to facilitate patient access and care continuity.
• Maintain adherence to patient confidentiality and organizational standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, virtual care clinicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Adapt to evolving clinical workflows and organizational initiatives.
• Uphold a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and complete defined work in a timely and professional manner.
• Support ongoing process improvement and organizational/department changes.
• Identify self and department in all phone interactions.
• Accept additional related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of relevant healthcare or clinical administrative experience.
• Proficiency with electronic health records, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and standard office equipment.
• Understanding of age-specific patient needs and growth principles.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, structured virtual healthcare environment.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EPIC systems.
• Experience with spreadsheet management and data entry.
