[Hiring] Kettle Hotline Operator @The Salvation Army USA Central Territory

Role Description

The Kettle Hotline Operator provides after-hours and weekend customer service to volunteers supporting The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle fundraising campaign. The seasonal position runs approximately from mid-November to Christmas.

• Pay: $11.41 to $18 per hour
• Hours: 28 hours a week
• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 4pm to 7:30pm and Saturdays from 9am to 7:30pm
• Location: 2445 Prior Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113
• Temporary position from November 14th to December 24th, 2026

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Willing to support the philosophy, goals, and mission of The Salvation Army
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of honor in dealing with confidential information
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Provide exceptional customer service to callers using the Kettle hotline, answering all calls within 3 rings
• Professionally respond to and assist callers with questions, concerns, and feedback
• Resolve concerns or appropriately elevate the concern in a timely manner
• Promptly relay concerns and successes to the appropriate department/unit leader
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date entries of all calls
