Role Description

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Home Care Intake and Client Services Coordinator to join our growing healthcare services team. This position serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking home care services. You will:

• Answer inbound calls, gather client information, explain available services, schedule assessments, and connect prospective clients with the appropriate local care teams.
• Thrive in a fast-paced remote setting and deliver exceptional customer service over the phone.

Although this is a remote position, candidates must reside in Michigan, with preference given to those living within 25 miles of Troy to facilitate training, occasional in-person meetings, and future operational needs.

Qualifications

• Home care intake, client services, or scheduling experience required
• Previous call center, remote customer service, or high-volume inbound phone support experience required
• Must reside in the State of Michigan
• Candidates located within 25 miles of Troy, MI are strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable learning new software systems and technology
• High-speed internet connection and dedicated home workspace

Requirements

• Answer inbound calls from prospective clients, family members, referral sources, and healthcare consumers
• Gather and document client information accurately
• Explain available home care services
• Schedule consultations, assessments, and follow-up appointments
• Route inquiries to the appropriate local office or operational team
• Provide compassionate, professional customer service on every interaction
• Communicate effectively by phone, email, text, and virtual platforms
• Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally
• Follow up with prospective clients and referral sources
• Help individuals understand available services and next steps
• Maintain accurate records within CRM and intake systems
• Document all client interactions and communications
• Track inquiries, referrals, and follow-up activities
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Address client questions and concerns
• Escalate complex situations appropriately
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive client experience
