[Hiring] Gaming Moderator @Social Element

Role Description

Join Us at Social Element as a Gaming Moderator for German on a globally recognised gaming brand. We keep users' gaming experience safe, enjoyable, and inclusive, ensuring players of all ages feel comfortable and confident on our client’s gaming platforms.

• Review reported content in German and English, including comments, chats, graphic images, videos, and audio files.
• Make decisions on whether user-generated content violates community policies based on moderation guidelines.
• Escalate harmful content to ensure user and brand protection.
• Moderate in accordance with Social Element and client-specific guidelines.
• Stay updated with notifications of any new changes in guidelines or systems.
• Carry out moderation and training according to the project schedule.
• Be resilient when reviewing unexpected or sensitive content.
• Inform supervisors or project management of any technical issues with tools or content.

Qualifications

• Excellent German and English language skills, with outstanding reading abilities.
• Experience in moderation, community management, or a strong familiarity with gaming.
• Knowledgeable in navigating various social platforms (TikTok, Twitch, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Comfortable using various technologies, apps, and online/cloud platforms.
• Self-disciplined in managing time while working remotely.

Requirements

• Operating system: Windows 10 64bits or higher / MAC OS X version 13 (Ventura) or higher.
• Processor: i5 8th generation or faster 64-bit (x64).
• RAM: At least 8GB (16GB recommended).
• Internet speed: 20Mbps download / 1Mbps upload (50Mbps download / 5Mbps upload recommended).
• 40 GB available HDD (SSD recommended).
• A webcam and headset.
• Android or iOS device for 2FA.
• Chromebook, Linux, and Cloud VMs are not supported.
