[Hiring] French Speaking Customer Service & Sales Associate @Partao

Role Description

Partao is building the global marketplace for heavy-machinery parts: a single platform connecting buyers and sellers across the industry. With 2,000+ brands and over 5 million SKUs, we make sourcing faster, smarter and more reliable by helping people find the exact part that fits their machine.

We're looking for a motivated Customer Service & Sales Associate to join our growing start-up. You'll be the main point of contact for our French-speaking customers, handling their enquiries and orders, while running direct B2B sales and optimising inbound sales as part of our lead generation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service:
  • Respond to French customer enquiries by email, phone and our ticketing system, in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support customers with orders, delivery updates, returns and replacements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues, and keep accurate records of every case.
• Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Identify, research and qualify new B2B leads in France.
  • Support outbound sales activities including cold calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM and help improve prospecting processes.
• Sales Development:
  • Conduct initial outreach and discovery calls with potential clients.
  • Present Partao's value proposition clearly and confidently.
  • Nurture leads, convert enquiries into orders, and book qualified meetings for senior sales managers.
• Lead Gen Tools & Optimisation:
  • Assist in launching and testing new digital lead generation tools.
  • Monitor tool performance and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Contribute to sales automation workflows and reporting dashboards.
• Market Insights & Feedback:
  • Gather insights from French customers and prospects to help refine messaging.
  • Share market intelligence and recurring customer issues with the wider team to support product, operations and marketing strategy.

Qualifications

• French at C1 level or above (written and spoken).
• English at A2 level or above.
• Based in Armenia.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service.
• Advantageous: experience in sales, operations, procurement, order processing or supply chain.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tracking tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
• High integrity, trustworthiness and comfort handling customer data.
• Problem-solving mindset and a self-starter attitude.

Bonus Points

• Graduate in business, economics, marketing or a related field.
• Experience with CRM or ticketing tools.
• Strong interest in B2B sales, business development and digital tools.
