Role Description

As a Freelance Guest Service Agent Hospitality (all genders), you are the first point of contact for our guests. You take on the digital care of guests throughout their entire stay and, with your hospitable communication and quick resolution of challenges, ensure a memorable holiday experience. You are at the wheel of our digital reception, always keeping a cool head and making sure every day that our guests feel completely at home at Homaris.

Location requirement: Applicants must be based outside the European Union.

What You'll Do

• Guest care: Respond digitally via chat or by phone to a wide range of enquiries and concerns, ensuring that every guest feels heard, supported, and well looked after.
• End-to-end support: Assist guests before arrival, during check-in, throughout their stay, and after check-out, providing reliable advice and practical support at every stage of their journey.
• Pragmatic solutions: Commit to fulfilling guests’ wishes and approach every challenge with a calm, solution-oriented mindset.
• Product knowledge: Continuously build knowledge of apartments, locations, services, and processes to provide accurate, helpful information.
• Quality mindset: Participate in training sessions, stay up to date with relevant information, and contribute to maintaining and improving guest service standards.
• Teamwork: Coordinate closely with Guest Service Supervisors to develop suitable solutions and ensure a smooth experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Service orientation: Enjoy helping people, understand different guest needs, and are committed to creating a positive experience at every interaction.
• Flexibility: Comfortable working at different times of the day and taking on occasional weekend shifts while remaining reliable and professional.
• Relevant experience: Experience in customer support, hospitality, tourism, or a comparable service environment; vocational qualification in tourism or hospitality is an advantage.
• Organisation: Work in a structured way, set clear priorities, and coordinate several enquiries and tasks effectively.
• Communication: Communicate clearly and confidently with a wide range of personalities, adapting your approach to different situations.
• Digital confidence: Comfortable using software and digital solutions, quickly familiarising with new systems and tools.
• Language skills: Fluent in English at C1 level and very good German language skills at B2 level or higher.
• System knowledge: Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; experience with booking platforms or property management systems is an advantage.
• AI mindset: Recognise the potential of digital tools and are enthusiastic about using AI to improve service quality and efficiency.
