[Hiring] FEP Customer Service Rep @Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska

Role Description

This role is responsible for executing essential functions that support the Claims Department. This individual will work closely with internal and external customers to investigate, examine, and resolve a variety of claims-related tasks, escalating complex situations to a higher level. Effective communication and a comprehensive understanding of industry guidelines, as well as state and federal insurance claim regulations, is key. The individual will also navigate through various Claims systems to complete daily tasks.

• Ability to investigate and resolve claims inquiries.
• Records information into Claims systems to ensure proper documentation.
• Demonstrates an understanding of applicable federal, state, and industry laws and helps ensure compliance with regulations.
• Responds to inquiries from internal and external customers via various means of communication.
• Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and external customers.
• Ability to navigate through various Claims systems.
• Participates in projects, as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma + 2 years' experience.
