Role Description

Our client provides accessible healthcare services and focuses on improving customer experiences through digital engagement. We’re looking for engagement moderators to interact with patients and community members on social media platforms.

  • Respond to messages and feedback, including sensitive or negative content, while maintaining a professional and empathetic tone.
  • Daily interactions require attention to context, tagging, and internal documentation.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in high-volume or emotionally heavy engagement queues.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and the ability to handle negative feedback professionally.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive, supportive community for current patients and potential patients.
  • Passion for engagement, with strong social skills that include empathy, active listening, and effective communication.
  • Prior engagement moderation experience with a strong understanding of community dynamics, conflict resolution, and fostering positive interactions.
  • Proficient in understanding and implementing escalation protocols.
  • Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail, especially with knowledge of the medical/dental field and HIPAA / PHI.
  • Conversationalist / Strategist mindset with the ability to navigate complex conversations.
  • Ability to be straightforward; we don’t want to confirm or deny, we will connect you with our team.
  • Prior Sprout experience a plus.

Requirements

  • Schedule Needs:
    • Monday – Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM PST
    • Saturday – Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST
  • Commitment: 10 hours weekly for 90 days.
  • Orientation Start: February 2, 2026.
