Role Description

The E-Advisor engages prospective students through online, phone, and text interactions to convert inquiries into appointments with Program Advisors. Reporting to the VP of Admissions, this role provides program information, schedules interviews and testing, updates the CRM, and supports marketing initiatives to help meet enrollment targets, while staying informed about program details and career opportunities.

Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent

Location: Remote

Compensation: $17.85 per hour plus commission

Schedule: 20 hours per week, including a required commitment to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), with the remaining hours scheduled during the week. Some flexibility is available.

What you will do:

• Respond promptly to prospective student inquiries via phone, email, chat, and text.
• Provide accurate information about programs, special offers, and upcoming events.
• Schedule appointments for information sessions, interviews, and entrance testing.
• Update and maintain CRM with all interactions, notes, and applicant information.
• Collaborate with Program Advisors, Registrars, and Marketing to ensure lead management and follow-up.
• Track and report on inquiry volume, appointments, follow-ups, and enrollments.
• Support marketing campaigns and recruitment events as needed.
• Stay knowledgeable about program details, industry requirements, and career opportunities.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and graduation ceremonies as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement processes and share feedback with the VP of Admissions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in telemarketing, virtual customer service, or student engagement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an exceptional command of English.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience using CRM systems.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Previous experience in the education industry is an asset.
• Dynamic, professional, and personable telephone manner.
