[Hiring] Discord Community Manager @Nodeworthy

Role Description

We are seeking a Discord Community Manager to own and operate the protocol’s Discord as a high-signal information and discussion layer. You will be responsible for maintaining clarity, credibility, and professionalism in all community interactions, engaging confidently with serious market participants, and ensuring Discord functions as a trusted environment for discussion around DeFi, risk, yield, and capital markets.

• Own and operate the protocol’s Discord as a high-signal, professional discussion environment
• Handle user inquiries and support tickets with accuracy, clarity, and composure
• Moderate discussions to ensure discourse remains factual, constructive, and market-literate
• Engage meaningfully with sophisticated users on DeFi markets, risk, yield, and macro dynamics
• Translate protocol updates, dashboards, and mechanics into clear, credible explanations
• Monitor DeFi and TradFi markets and surface relevant insights in community discussions
• Maintain and optimise Discord structure, tooling, and moderation workflows
• Design and own coverage systems to ensure consistent quality and professionalism at all times
• Active participant in DeFi, particularly lending, borrowing, and yield strategies
• Strong understanding of DeFi primitives including stablecoins, liquidity, risk, and RWAs
• Familiarity with macro and TradFi concepts such as rates, cycles, and risk appetite
• Proven experience operating and moderating Discord communities
• Deep familiarity with Discord architecture, bots, permissions, and moderation tooling
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• High judgment and composure in high-volatility or high-stakes environments
• Fluent English with strong editorial clarity
• Availability aligned with Pacific Time hours, with meaningful overlap during core working periods

Qualifications

• Experience working with DeFi protocols or DAOs
• Background in finance, trading, research, or risk
• Experience engaging with high-net-worth or institutional crypto participants
• Familiarity with RWA, stablecoin, or insurance narratives
