Role Description

We are looking for enthusiastic fundraisers to generate donations for democratic candidates and causes.

On a typical shift, a fundraiser will:

• Use a script to influence existing or potential donors to donate to a cause or candidate
• Process credit card gifts
• Work with Coaches on the call floor to increase success

A successful fundraiser must be friendly and persuasive. The ideal candidate will also be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
• Use scripts to provide information about candidates or causes
• Record the donor’s personal information accurately in a computer system
• Correctly code calls

Requirements

• A USB headset
• A computer or laptop
• Ethernet cord

Benefits

• Hourly pay is $10.50 per hour, and payday is EVERY FRIDAY
• $2 for every contribution you make, plus additional incentives
• Two weeks paid training
• A minimum of 15 hours is required, but you can work up to 40 hours a week
