[Hiring] Customer Service Representative I @Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine

Role Description

This role involves providing outstanding customer support and managing customer inquiries and orders.

• Analyze, process, and respond to customer and sales team needs.
• Process orders and inquiries, including those received via fax and email.
• Promote products through effective sales support and ongoing relationships with customers.
• Advise customers on product availability and inventory status.
• Assist the sales team with account inquiries and problems involving product quality, traffic carrier concerns, product availability, pricing, and billing.
• Maintain customer account information, ensuring efficient billing and maintenance of all related paperwork.
• Assist with team initiatives as required and provide recommendations for organizational improvements.

Qualifications

• At least a year in customer service, order management, or supply chain experience — preferably in medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems and comfortable learning new systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize under pressure.
• Customer-focused with a collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder management skills.

Requirements

• Experience specifically with surgical or vision-care product portfolios (preferred).
• Familiarity with allocation planning, demand/supply balancing, or inventory management tools (preferred).
• Knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements for medical devices (preferred).
