[Hiring] Customer Service Representative @Sage TPA

Role Description

Join our growing team as a Customer Service Representative. This is a remote position where you'll be on the front lines assisting members with benefit verification and general support.

• Serve as a first point of contact for members via phone and email
• Verify insurance benefits and coverage details with carriers
• Provide clear, accurate, and empathetic communication to members
• Document all member interactions and benefit verifications thoroughly
• Collaborate with internal team members to resolve inquiries efficiently
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with all customer interactions

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous customer service experience (healthcare or insurance background preferred)
• Comfortable navigating systems and managing multiple tasks
• Empathetic, patient, and able to problem-solve in real time
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace

Requirements

• Schedule will fall within operating hours based on operational needs (Incorporating a 40-hour work week, and a full 8-hour workday)
• Operating hours: Monday–Friday: 7:00 a.m. CST – 5:30 p.m. CST, Saturday: 8:00 a.m. CST – 4:00 p.m. CST, Sunday: 8:00 a.m. CST – 12:00 p.m. CST
• Lunch Break: 1 hour daily
• Pay Range: $20–$22/hour, based on experience
• Work Environment: 100% remote
