[Hiring] Pharmacy Customer Service Representative @UnitedHealth Group

Role Description

This position is National Remote. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

As part of our Provider Services group, the quality of support you deliver will directly translate into better care for patients. You’ll take as many as 50 - 70 calls per day from members who have questions about their prescriptions, using your personality and our tools to make each call successful.

This position is full time (40 hours/week), Sunday - Saturday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during the following business hours 6:00 am - 9:00 pm CST.

We offer 3 weeks of virtual classroom training, followed by 1 week of on-the-job training. Attendance and punctuality are required for successful completion of training and nesting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls from health care providers and members to identify the type of assistance needed.
• Focus on resolving issues on the first call, navigating through complex computer systems.
• Deliver information and answer questions positively to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their staff.
• Complete the documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate reporting of overall trends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience.
• Must be 18 years of age OR older.
• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications.
• Ability to work full time (40 hours/week), Sunday - Saturday.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.).
• Health care experience preferred.
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure.
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection.
