[Hiring] Corporate Travel- Fulfillment Advisor- Dual GDS @Direct Travel

As a key member of the Fulfillment Travel Advisor will be responsible for the successful completion of comprehensive, accurate, cost effective travel arrangements for Direct Travel clients within company policies utilizing corporate contracts and preferred suppliers in an efficient and professional manner. 

This role will report to the Operations Manager. 

• Monitor and manage fulfillment queues to ensure records are cleared efficiently 

• Review and process reservations queued for ticketing, exchanges, or refunds across Sabre and Apollo systems. 

• Handle schedule changes, reissues, and voids according to airline and client policy. 

• Responds to client inquiries received via a queue for domestic and international travel itineraries 

• Troubleshoots and documents technical errors that occur with the on-line booking tool 

• Ability to handle multi-cultural clientele 

• Strong working knowledge and understanding of international pricing rules and procedures 

• Utilizing IRD/DSD 

• Supports one or more accounts 

• Ensure PNR documentation meets internal QC and ARC audit requirements 

• Interacts with traveler or travel arranger and provides 1st level of support for customer service  

• Ensures compliance of a client’s travel policy while utilizing DT preferred vendors to maximize profit 

• Adheres to DT standards in delivering customer service including telephone and email etiquette, and follows prescribed customer service escalation procedure. 

• Follows company standards regarding procedures, utilization of tools, productivity, accuracy of work, and attendance 

• Attends staff and training meetings for ongoing updates in travel industry and office procedures which may require you to work in the office if home based 

• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative working environment

Requirements 

• Minimum 5 years of corporate consultant experience proficiency in Sabre and preferably Apollo experience  

• Understanding of fare construction, exchanges, refunds, and airline policy. 

• Ability to create domestic and international multi-segment, multi-destination itineraries 

• Must demonstrate industry knowledge 

• Proficiency in one or more CRS 

• Ability to meet and exceed required performance standards 

• Excellent customer service skills required 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required 

• Minimum knowledge of Outlook skills and basic Microsoft platforms 

• Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US 

Preferred: Experience with Concur, Deem
