[Hiring] Community Resource Advisor @Gryphon Place

Role Description

Provides information and referral services and crisis intervention services by phone and electronically to the public and community professionals 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and experience with human services preferred.
• Successful completion of 40-hour classroom training required (provided by Gryphon Place).

Requirements

• 16-hour positions.
• Must have Saturday availability between 9a-8pm (8 hours in that range somewhere) + 1 additional day a week 2nd shift 4p-12a.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills.
• Versed in substance abuse issues and mental health issues.
• Clear and effective communication and accurate assessment of inquirer’s needs.
• Ability to function as a team member in an experiential learning setting.
• Ability to effectively problem solve and resolve conflict.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain professional expectations and assist individuals with diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledgeable of program procedures and the contact center's information system.
• Must have reliable, secure internet service along with a cellular phone.
