Role Description

Velsain is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive customer experience by assisting with travel planning, bookings, and ongoing support before, during, and after their trips. • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist clients with booking and managing travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, vacation packages, cruises, and excursions.
• Resolve customer concerns and provide effective solutions while maintaining a positive and service-oriented approach.
• Maintain accurate client records, booking details, and communication logs.
• Provide personalized travel recommendations based on client preferences and needs.
• Follow up with clients before and after travel to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with team members and travel suppliers to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, and industry updates.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required; travel industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Outstanding problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers, online booking systems, and social media platforms.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Requirements

• Experience with travel booking platforms such as Expedia, Amadeus, Sabre, or similar systems.
• Sales, cross-selling, or upselling experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of domestic and international travel requirements.
