Role Description

This role focuses on managing and documenting customer payments via authorized digital platforms, providing transaction receipts, and resolving fundamental payment inquiries. Success in this position demands precision in numerical tasks, unwavering integrity, keen attention to detail, and foundational proficiency with computer systems to ensure seamless financial operations.

• Facilitate customer payments using Point of Sale systems, banking transfers, online gateways, or other sanctioned digital methods.
• Confirm payment status and validate transaction reference numbers.
• Generate and distribute digital receipts alongside payment confirmations.
• Keep precise and up-to-date logs of daily financial activities.
• Cross-check payment logs against sales data and transaction reports to ensure alignment.
• Detect and escalate issues such as transaction errors, failed payments, refund requests, or chargebacks.
• Address straightforward customer questions regarding payment processes.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all customer and financial data.
• Compile daily transaction summaries for supervisory review or the accounting department.
• Adhere to established organizational protocols concerning payments, refunds, and financial security measures.

Qualifications

• Possess between zero and two years of prior experience in cashiering, customer support, sales, finance, or administrative roles.
• Demonstrate fundamental familiarity with spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Exhibit strong aptitude for numerical calculations and maintaining organized records.
• Display effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Have access to a stable internet connection and a functional computer or smartphone.
• Show a high degree of trustworthiness and meticulous attention to detail.
